The River
The Shuswap River forms the eastern border of the town.  With a recreational playground right here, activities like swimming, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, hiking, fishing, and picnicking on the beach can be more than your vacation dreams – they become part of your lifestyle.

The Lakes
Mabel Lake, only an hour drive to the east, offers a public boat launch and plenty of sandy beaches to enjoy.  Mara Lake is popular for motor boats and other motorized water sports.  Fishing in both lakes is best in the spring and fall.

The Golf
Several nearby golf courses make Enderby an ideal destination for the golf enthusiast. 
Mabel Lake Golf & Country Club, Birchdale Par 3 in Grindrod, Canoe Creek, Sonseekers, Club Shuswap, Salmon Arm Golf Club, Royal York, Spallumcheen Golf, Vernon Golf Club, Predator Ridge, and Hillview are all within a 30 minute drive, and offer a variety of challenges for all levels of players.

The People
A friendly small town atmosphere is evident here.  It’s a true community, where store clerks know your name and neighbours still know neighbours.  Volunteers are the backbone of the community.

Central Location
Enderby is centrally located, approximately 500 km (300 miles) from large urban cities such as Calgary, AB, Vancouver, BC, Spokane & Seattle, Washington State.  Located approximately 20 minutes south of the Trans Canada Highway, Enderby has access to major markets to the east and west.  The Kelowna International Airport is approximately an hour’s drive to the south.
