In the summer months, the nearby community of Kingfisher sponsors a variety of activities.  In the vicinity of Mabel Lake is a community hall, tennis courts, a ball diamond, a soccer fiend, and a fish hatchery.  A summer camp, resort and airpark are also situated here.  Hidden Lake, Gardom Lake, Baird Lake and Rosemund Lake are other nearby treasures.
