Armstrong Spallumcheen Memorial Park
A beautiful park setting with playground equipment, picnic tables and open areas is a draw for area families. Locally, the four area schools provide additional play equipment and areas.
Hassen Memorial Arena
Enjoy ice skating, an active minor hockey league, and figure skating programs. During the spring and summer months, the arena is utilized for the Minor, Senior and Master Lacrosse Leagues.
Armstrong’s Royal York Golf Club
Described as “unique and deceivingly difficult”, this is a full-length 3,200 yard, par-35, 9-hole course. Enjoy the pro shop, full service restaurant, and 24 fully serviced RV sites.

Open late May to September 1st, the heated outdoor pool is enjoyed by Armstrong residents. Swimming programs are offered for all ages.

Close to Silver Star Ski resort, this Provincial Recreation Area is in the Shuswap Highlands – the most northernly winter playground in the Okanagan Valley.
The Thomas Hayes Ecological Reserve
A 58 hectare wildlife refuge, this reserve protects a large colony of Great Herons. Take a stroll through the trails.
